Researchers at the University of Washington have invented a prototype phone that makes calls using energy from ambient radio waves and sunlight instead of a battery.

Modern smartphones use WAY too much power to use some capacitors and atmospheric electricity. This will never be in smartphone, but. an be used for basic phones for the elderly that just want to call people.

Btw battery can mean a lot so it does work on batterys but its more like free fuel
