This reunion between Xavier and Magneto was the most beautiful scene in the film, Charles already knew Erik's story, when he lost his parents in World War II, and now a new tragedy had occurred in Erik's life

This movie definitely has its issues, but Fassbender is so good in this role. The 2010s X-Men movies did an effective job showing Xavier was way too naive for this world and why he was never able to completely reach out to Erik, who constantly saw the worst in people.

I like how Magneto could literally block Charles without the helmet proved he learned to hide his mind from Charles for a good long time, although the helmet literally helps him block Charles completely
