I love how Magneto and Charles were still friends even though they were on different sides, It’s good to see that Magneto respected him

At any moment Charles Xavier could have brainwashed Magneto into deleting himself, and at any moment Erik could have put a knife in Charles Xavier's heart. The fact that the thought never even crossed either of their minds made this the best hero/villain relationship in any superhero film.

Magneto saw Charles as someone who gave mutants a home and a purpose that wasn't for war but as living beings, what eric he really wanted for them to be if humans didn't exist. He never hated charles for helping mutants live in peace, he hated him wanting mutants to coexisting with the people that murdered their kind.

Not one time has Magneto said anything selfish or bad about Professor X. It just shows that despite their differences and differences in life, they truly and genuinely both cared, loved, and respected each other. You don’t find many villains who know how to express their feelings and hearts.

What I love is that they hold true to Charles and Erik being based on MLK and Malcolm X, respectively. It's said that Malcolm was very critical of MLK's message, but still respected him as "a fellow leader of our people".
