Bruce was a loved member of this YouTube channel. He was the literal mascot. Nothing stopped him. He was 17 years old. He was the main deal. He was the bees knees he was a really good fish. Nothing could stop him. He was a very, very popular fish of this channel you’ve had a lot of really really good fish, but I don’t think Bruce could compareto all the others be loved to all others missed I’m so sorry about Bobby. I hope he’s doing better up in the sky.😊❤🕊️

Oh my gosh…

I am speechless. I was thinking about Bruce just the other day and all that he’s gone through. I was not expecting to come upon this video today. I am so very sad to hear of his passing.

He really was one of my favorite little fish, and I didn’t even get to interact with him! What’s not to love? We watched him bite a snake, swim face to face with alligators, survive snapping turtles, and brave hurricanes—all while being blind! This reminds me of “The Fish” by Elizabeth Bishop:

He didn't fight.
He hadn't fought at all.
He hung a grunting weight,
battered and venerable
and homely.

RIP Bruce.
