HURRICANE KILLED MY PET FISH!

In today's video, I show the aftermath of hurricane Ian and what it did to my backyard ponds! Sadly some of my pet fish died from having no power, including 2 oscars, the axolotl, and an arowana... In this video I also give a tour of all my ponds and tanks and show underwater footage of all of them!

It's possible that the salamander (what you refer to as Axolotl) passed because it needed a land spot. Based on the way it was looking it could of been close to becoming a salamander. If you get one again I'd recommend making a tank that is half water and half land so it can get out when it needs to. I'm new to your channel and have been binging for days, your stuff is really fun to watch! I only mention the Salamander/Axolotl because I actually own two myself.

Bruce is such a good boi. Love seeing him every time since he’s such an OG to the channel. If he is nearing his time at least he got to live out the end of his life with you Bobby. He seems happy with his retirement.

I’m sorry to hear about the deaths Bobby. Very tragic, but this is how we learn and stuff like this happens. Don’t be discouraged keep pushing forward and know you have people who support you! Keep up the great work man. 👍

Bruce is amazing and I love seeing him in the beginning of your videos. Definitely wouldn't mind watching a longer video of all the fish.

Hey Bobby, so that creature wasn’t an axolotl. It was a tiger salamander larvae and one of the reasons it could’ve died is because they need land when they reach a certain stage in their life when they begin their transformation into a terrestrial species.

In your episode HURRICANE KILLED MY PET FISH! from 11 months ago, you do a bit of under water filming, and we get to see the fish closer and more distinctly. I really enjoyed that. Would love to see more of it!

Thanks for the update! ❤ rest in peace axolotl rose, we'll always miss you, oh, and also, I think an hour long video of you just talking about fish would be cool, but I don't want two videos like that in a row, hope you get a new axolotl soon!!❤💖💗

Sad to hear about the fish you lost due to the hurricane😪, they're all so tame & you love them so much, also your axolotl/salamanda larvae may have died because it had no dry land to get on and it was ready to turn into a salamanda, if you catch another one making a half water/land setup would be better

You should be able to get by for a day with just the battery powered air pump and some zeolite in mesh bags to keep the ammonia under control. In less crowded conditions you do not even need the air pump just scoop water out and dump it back in several times to add air to the water.
