I wasn't able to tell that the line splitting the 30 and 40 degree triangle was in the x and y direction. I thought it was just the y component of the force. Thank you for showing me this. It saved me from making a mistake on my "Final Answer"// You are Fantastic teacher

why do we HAVE to find the vector from AC? & BC? why couldnt we use AB or BA?

Everything on a is correct except the final "i" value; it's multiplied by negative .2 (-.2) and the negative was covered by the lines so the "i" value is -5.38i

If the Y component is the hypothenuse of the 40 degree triangle, how can the Y component be smaller then the (x, y) projection side.

you put
x as 0.55
y as 0
z as -0.2

why you put y as 0, it is 0.4
