I would make my x-axis along the liver arm and that will make the angle=50 with the negative x-axis. then use it to find the moment=(F*d)= Fx*dx + Fy*dy=(600lb*cos50)(0.5 ft)+(600lb*sin50)( 5ft ) = 2492 lb.ft CCW
