Thanks for addressing this— my leo has done it and I haven’t found anything else explaining it. I appreciate what you do, keep it up!

Oh...My Gecko used to do that just randomly at night even if I didn't feed him. It looked like he was gonna barf but it didn't come out. He was sick at the time and died shortly after.

My gecko does that semi often, but she refuses to eat smaller prey. She eats worms, but doesn't care for crickets at all and refuses small roaches. Only the ones as big as her head is good enough for the pampered princess.

My female leo does something similar, it's like an odd neck bending movement. This is usually after eating some mealworms. I take it as a sign that she is done and full. Thanks for the vid!

question: my leopard gecko used to wag his tail when he was eating crickets. He is almost 2 years old now and he doesn’t do it anymore. I was wondering why he stopped

I went to get a container of medium Dubias for my gecko and they all turned out to be like XL roaches so she has to like force them down

I’ve had my gecko 7 months and he has always done this! I thought it was their normal way of eating. Glad to know- I will have to get smaller bugs for now on! I am breeding mealworms and Dubias so I always have bugs of all sizes available, luckily. Any suggestions (from anyone reading) about other types of insects I should feed and breed for my gecko? He has eaten crickets, meal worms, and dubia roaches so far. I hate keeping crickets because they’re smelly and noisy, so I won’t breed them but I am looking for alternate bugs. Preferably something with a softer body because the ones I have both have decently hard shells. Any suggestions are appreciated!

Oh so I feed a variety of bugs.. like dubia roaches, crickets, meal worms, super worms, black soldier fly larvae. And treats i do butter worms, wax worms. And also hornworms just there a bit pricey. My question is can my Leo only eat hornworms like as a staple? Or is that not okay ? It’s just after her last period of laying infertile eggs. She hasn’t wanted any of the other bugs I’ve offered. Jellybean just goes nuts for hornworms. Do you have any advice? Thanks for your time
