Thank you this is very informative. I have my head about getting a leopard gecko but the insectivorous diet and crepuscular habit kind of are making me looking alternatives. I did some research about Uromastyx Ornates and considering them since they are diurnal and herbivorous however it seems that they can be quite skittish. I had a hedgehog before and it was very skittish, defensive, pooping all the places, etc... I'd like to avoid that experience again. I don't need a reptile that sit still on my shoulder like a beardie but again would like to not go again over the same experience with the hedgehog. Do you have some inputs about Uromastyx?
