Pro tip: You also need to do Space Station farming. On another space station, the 3 components will create a different configuration of SuperCharged slots placement. So if you want to create a ship with connected SC slots with the 3 ship components you want, you need to go and find a space station that creates ships with good SC placement with those 3 components.

If you want a specific ship, but aren't happy with the placement of the supercharge slots, go to a different space station and try the same build again. The slots change based on both the parts you use and the station itself.

Big tip for finding crashed space ships super easy for free is to have a Minotaur Exocraft with the scanner upgrade as it can contantly scan for "Distress Signals" specifically for free which will always lead you to a crashed ship or a crashed freighter. Use it on a planet that doesn't spawn a lot of NPCs to prevent them from "taking" your ship (you fix it for them and then they leave).

4:55 quick tip for crashed ships, instead of repearing them just add them to the collection and leave, once you have enough go to the anomaly and call them, ususally the game would say "ship critically damaged" but there not only it works but fixes engine and launch pads, once did that you go to a space station and call the ships you wanna scrap 1 by 1.

You sacrificed so much money for the S class just for an example. Chad move. You get a like. XD

I hope they'll give us some form of 'garage' storage that allows us to store these ship parts and have it only store ship parts. That way we can ship part hunt without taking up regular storage/inventory slots. Also, it would look pretty cool to have a freighter room or base room themed to storing these parts.

Good first step. Last step hopefull "mix'n'match" like putting Explorer parts on a Fighter hull. And expand to all classes of ship.

The price of the reactor cores changes based on your faction standing with the race of the station. Run some station missions or hand in a bunch of race specific artifacts to increase your standing, and you'll see the price drop.

Jason saying don’t pay too much for a ship. Me buying and scrapping a 100, 000, 000 hauler for the wings!!

Go to Outlaw systems. Ships have an 85% chance of being C class the cheapest ships you can find. Less slots less money. Or if you are hunting them on a planet, it doesn't matter other that what you are look for. Go to systems with the race that spawn the ships you want. Fighter, hauler or explorer. That way you have a higher chance of a crash ship being let's say a fighter.

Storage management is a nightmare, they keep adding things like this. These "blueprints" should not have been an item, they should have been an unlockable.

I'd like to give a heartfelt "fuck you" to whoever designed the tornado mechanics on planets with severe storms.

I've been slowly hunting specific parts for the ship I want to build, and I only have one left to get. After waiting for hours and reloading at a planet's trading post, the ship I needed FINALLY appeared, but a severe storm hit at the same time.

While I was sprinting to go get that ship, a tornado decided it would be funny to pick me up off of the walkway and carry me, then pitch me, several hundred meters away. Of course, the pilot took off before I could get back because the tornado forced me to exhaust my jetpack and stamina to survive the fall.

Still haven't seen another ship with the part I want since then. I'm not the type of person to rage quit for any games I play, but this time, I just had to close the game and shutdown my PC.

That shit had me absolutely *livid*

Your channel is underrated. I’ve learned so much about NMS from you and this looks like a ton of fun! I’m on Switch, so I don’t have the update yet, but this is and will be very helpful. Thanks dude! 🚀🛸👽

People are missing that there's a minigame when you assemble your ship. If you watch, until you click "assemble" the stats are all sliding up and down. You can time your clicking of the assemble button with when it is showing the stats you like best.

The primary factor that determines ship value is the number of inventory/upgrade slots it has, not the class. A c-class ship with 48 slots will cost way more than an s-class ship with 15 slots. This is why haulers are expensive because they usually have a lot of inventory slots.

When scanning, you can also see the tier and inventory space next to the class of the ship. It will say "Hauler // B 37+12"

Watching Jason Plays is always fun and informative. What are the odds an S class would show up to scrap! Also you don't need to keep entering your ship, you can now change your ship at the space station using X on the keyboard.

You can also change the number and placement of the tech slots and supercharged slots by going to different space stations. The best I've found so far is 18 slots with 3 supercharged slots.
