About 3 days after the release of solar ships I got really lucky and found a Class-A and I got loads of S-Class upgrades for it, one being extra launch fuel, one being recharging launch fuel. I can literally sit in my ship for a minute and it goes up by 90%. I love this update.

The solar ships have insane fuel efficiency for jumping between planets making them really good for salvaging ships and traveling.

In addition to recharging launch fuel, they also use less fuel overall.

Stat-wise they're like fighters, but better overall. Or as yet another reason to never fly a Shuttle

I probably only have to refuel my pulse drive once every 10 hours or so lol it’s definitely my main exploration ship

They also burn their pulse engines much more slowly. Haven't tested warping yet, now that I'm thinking about it...

I spent actually hours just looking for a solar ship with crescent sails so i could salvage it and make my own.

I completed my 9 Solar Starship fleet today,
Took like, 3 days of nonstop waiting and reloading until I got all S Class,
Am I gonna use all of them? Probably, probably not, who knows.
Am I proud of my collection? Yes!

the only backside is that the sails are realy prominent in the first person view and block most of the Side angles.
It would be cool if the sails fold in at least in combat.
Because they are fragile and it would make sense in wolrd

Just found an A class solar ship by chance and didn't even know that they were special, figured it was a cool looking ship. Only reason I had to buy a new ship was because my old ship when I was doing the storyline mission when I go through the portal to find artemis somehow turned into a sentinel NPC ship and it said it was "Z Fragment" but i looked that ship up and it was a completely different ship. All of my normal modules on my old ship had turned into the sentinel modules which was so odd so i took all my upgrades off found a solar A class that had basically the exact same amount of tech slots with 1 more storage slot, only thing that sucks is my old ship had 2 supercharged tech slots but at least i dont have to fly some weird ass NPC as a ship

Ngl launch fuel recharge is a really nice thing. That thing has always been kinda annoying.

I think a c class solar ship is a great ship for a new player cause of its recharge function

So far they are my favorite ships. I've bought everyone I've come across. My favorite one looks like the last one shown in this video except mine has blue colored sails.

I hope they make solarships customizable and make it to where you can use any part ship part be used on eachother, like a hauler wing of a starfighter hull

Found an S-Class Solar ship the other day. Red solar sails, and I had a ton of S-class upgrades on my starter ship, so now I have the Endeavor GX2, also known as Death, destroyer of worlds.

first ship I bought when I was a new player ( a few days ago lol) and I've loved it. I'm flying and Exotic now but it was a great daily driver for fuel economy!
