"Everyone knows that adjacency slots matter." It took me 50+ hours in the game to figure this out

I had no idea this even existed. I just placed similar techs next to each other for neatness.

As someone whose late to the party, I really appreciate how you make your videos with respect to my time and without any bullshit content padding. by far my favorite NMS content creator.

🤯 Didn't think it was that complex, thought once they were together it didn't matter 🙈 Thanks for the clear description 😊😊

This video just shows me how much I don’t know about this game yet still am loving every second playing it. I figured out putting them next to each other did something because of the border but didn’t really know how it worked. Thank you for this

I need to look up this guide when I'm less tired because I end up more confused lol, in any case love your guides mam, keep it up.

Videos such as this one showcase how a complex game like no mans sky could really benefit from a in-game tutorial and much better encyclopedia. I am convinced they do what they do to have this wonderful community around the game, that share ideas, secrets and tutorials, but still. A lot of basic game mechanics are either not explained at all or just in passing and often in hidden ways.
I haven't played the game for 4years and started playing it again and I am relearning everything....

NMS adjacency bonuses are so much more in depth than I thought. Thanks for the great work

It is extremely obnoxious that they put these mechanics in without a way for the game to explicitly explain how to use them. Similar to EV/IV implementation in early pokemon, fucking annoying to scour the internet and learn about.

Edit: Thank you for a clear and concise explanation.

I'm still confused as hell, but maybe after a couple of rewatches I'll figure it out. Thanks for the guide

Thos is truly great work. There is absolutely zero explanation or even mention of the adjacency stuff in game. I didn't even realize it was a thing until I had played a really long time. I just happened to notice the colored borders and looked closely at it.

As a new player, unaware about how these things actually work, I have randomly put couple of S-rank scanner upgrades next to each other and now, I am getting 150 thousand units per single plant/mineral/animal scan. Every visit on a new planet automatically equals couple of millions in units. I love the game.

Thank you. I’m an old NMS player..both chronologically and have played since day 1. I walked away for a bit but still kept playing a little as I was not 100% happy with the updates (happy they are still doing them but content was not for me, ) Now I’m back with a vengeance as the game just seems to have recaptured what I loved from day one and I am trying to get caught up with all the changes and new features. These really help me a lot.
