Hurricane Helene || A Week Without Power ||Western North Carolina

Western NC was hit by Hurricane Helene and I am sharing how it affected our community.

My son is a lineman. He and his crew from Kentucky are down in South Carolina trying to help them get power restored for them. They are working 17 1/2 hour shifts. I hope there are crews working hard to help restore your power and bring other needed assistance. We are praying for you and your communities!

I also live in North Carolina. I live about 2 hours away. This storm has just broken my heart. I am so glad you and your family are good. My nephew volunteered this weekend at Chimney Rock. He was in tears. He said they lost everything. I work with the elderly. I have been worried about them. Definitely praying for everyone including the volunteers, and those working in this.

We are in East Tn. We are ok but we were under a boil water alert for days and had no internet and no phone until yesterday. Thankfully we didn't lose power. Lots of trees down all over. Glad you are ok. Praying for everyone that lost so much!
