Ron DeSantis needs to answer the federal government calls and stop worrying about what he’s followers would think accepting federal funds and care for the people of Florida.

Let’s urge Governor DeSantis to demonstrate the expertise he speaks of.

This is so scary. The debris will probably cause majority of the damage at this point

Yet De Santis ignores offers of assistance. A losing failure.

I really missed not being able to vote against him this year. But voting against Rick Scott assuaged that sorrow!

And Republican senators are blocking additional funding to help with this.

Their clown of a governor needs to be held accountable. This is ridiculous. We’re talking about people’s lives.

Ron Santa is not qualified to lead this type of problem. Why hasn't another loader already been brought in they didn't find this out yesterday. Drive that loader off the trailer and get it to work. Can't anyone think down there.

Gee maybe De Santis should have accepted Federal help President Biden offered on Sunday

Maybe if he answered the phone from Biden he would get The help he needs. His people are going to suffer because of him
Let's see if they wake up!

From the first day I said this would happen. You're talking about bringing an extremely heavy load into an area where many roads or bridges are washed out or severely compromised. No telling how many times the driver had to turn back and try another road or bridge.

I feel badly that you have a governor that doesn’t put you first.

deSantis says he didn't need Federal help. Florida, thank your Governor for making Milton worse.

The last storms of the Season are always the worst, they move slowly, with a lot of water dropped on fewer areas and tend to be erratic, which gives them time to strengthen over and over.
And then the North fronts funnel them towards shores that normally get hurricanes parallel to the coast, but now they get them straight on.

Good reporting!! Desantis clearly doesn’t know how to handle this. No one to blame but himself.

Not just you buddy, I live in St Pete and they haven't done one thing to remove any debris from my neighborhood

DeSantis should be arrested and charged with negligence.
