I recently bought a house in Asheville, and last week, hurricane Helene made landfall, bringing unprecedented devastation to the WNC area. This video is a documentation of my experience as a new home owner living through the storm and dealing with the damage it wrought.

As communities begin the long road to recovery, residents are coming together to rebuild, highlighting their resilience in the face of this natural disaster. Thank you in advance to anyone donating to the fundraiser. 100% of all proceeds are going to disaster relief here in Asheville as the area begins the long process of rebuilding.

The morning after Milton hit Florida we went outside to start cleaning up the massive mess in our yard and was so surprised to find our 15 year old neighbor had already cleaned up most of it. The kindness neighbors have shown us has floored us

Glad to help, dude! Chainsaw work is so satisfying! Asheville has got so much work to be done to recover, hopefully we can continue to raise money to help those who need it.

I'm beyond gutted for the people of that area. You are a humble and good person, and I wish y'all the best of luck recovering.

Don't waste your energy on "survivor guilt". If you weren't spared as much as you were, you wouldn't be able to help others. Thank God for that and just keep going! ❤ Bless you all.

It's important that you continue to share because the media has stopped they're on to the next story.
These people have said they don't need any more supplies what they need is a way to rebuild and shelter.
Winter is coming to this area and in the mountains of North Carolina it's going to be 37 Wednesday and a lot of people are in tents.

I'm not surprised, I lived in Asheville, I was shocked, how the people were so friendly, drive anywhere, people always waved, invite you to dinner, really the sweetest people in the world, lead with their hearts.😁💚

Remember, you have to fill your own bucket before you can fill others. Take care of yourself so you can go out to help others. Glad your home is mostly OK, and you are safe. Keep us posted on what you do.

Maybe Kaya has found her furever home. After all, she did help you through the storm, and I think that makes her a very important family member!

I can’t believe the positive attitude of this man after all he has been through. Hopefully some day this will be a distant memory and his life will improve.
