The difference in low budget and high end is very high when copying large amounts of data. When copying 1tb data, he bx500 (sata) starts at 250 to 300MBps but dips to around 100 120MBps after 2 or 3gb copy and continues at this speed. A high end sata or nvme drive will have more cache and so throughout we get close to advertised speeds.

Loading times will be similar.

Nvme will always beat sata cos pcie is faster overall, unless you handicap the nvme by putting it in lesser lanes

Test it in silent hill 2 (or any UE5 game they all seem to be equally stupid when it comes to stuttering) also dead space remake is also super stuttery.

Bru I still play on ide pata hdd with molex connector gives me butter smooth performance no issues at all loading times are good and never dipped below 90fps

What an awful benchmark. We don't care about ingame animations, we just came here to see the loading time difference between ssd and nvme.
