The problem was on the memory controller, it identified some areas of the memory as corrupted. Once you update the firmware this goes away and you won’t have any corrupted partition. Also, this problem was especially on 2tb 980 pros produced in 2020 in Korea if I remember correctly

The firmware version mentioned in this video only applies to the 980 pro, the 990 pro has a different latest version of 3B2QJXB7.

Ok crisis averted, it was a Western Digital SSD I put in my PS5.

⚠️ For those that use the Samsung Magician software, be aware of what settings you turn on. One setting was to keep accessing the drives to check for errors or to keep track of performance. This runs up the paging file (virtual memory) and doesn’t dump it. I had this issue where the paged (or non-paged, was a year ago) pool would eventually overload and BSOD the PC.

The issue was fixed as early as Jan. 31, 2023. The firmware was out earlier than that date.

Holy shit this happened to me. I have 4 of these running raid 10, one month after I built it I got stuck in recovery mode, had to reset the entire pc. Thanks for the help def gonna update my m.2s rn
