Always love a chart, really don't like when you call out a specific line item in the chart without some form of highlight or focus on it. The solidigm shout at 12:15 is basically what I mean. I don't like having to back up the video a few seconds or pause to identify what the topic is. Appreciate the content.

Edit: Rewatched that section after commenting, was too busy trying to find Solidigm in the chart, I didn't even hear the Samsung shout alongside it.

990 Pro 2TB for whatever use case I have. Has good speeds, has decent tb written, has dram cache, isn't absurdly expensive, doesn't get as hot as the gen5 drives, and since firmware update is reliable like Samsung drives tend to be.

For my 3D workflow it's perfect, and it's good for gaming and default OS operation too. Usually there isn't a big enough price gap to really bother considering other drives in its segment tbh

Please talk about endurance (TBW) as well. Write endurance becomes a far more important metric with time, than raw read-write speed and performance.

I have two SN850X SSDs but recently got a Crucial T500. The T500 is the king! Gen 5 SSDs are just too hot and I don't need that on my Crosshair X670E Hero.

I was surprised to find that the Solidigm P41/P44 series is now discontinued, as per their webpage. It does not list a replacement either. I guess this will not be available after stock runs out.

Kingston FURY Renegade has a TBW of 1PBW/1TB, which I believe it is worth noting. Also, is is marketed as a slightly better performer than KC3000, but very similar, using the same Phison E18 controller. How come they are so far apart in some of your charts?
