Typed "how to export projects from final cut pro" into the search bar and watched the first three tutorials that came up - ALL COMPLETELY DIFFERENT! This was by far the best explained, made the most sense to me and helped me perform the task and achieve the exact result I was aiming for. SUBSCRIBED. Thanks a lot.

This was very helpful! I edited my first vlog today on FCP and noticed it saved a 3 min video in like 3 gigs. I am going with your recommendation on saving.

Very useful tip!

I was looking for the status bar to see if my project was exporting and this tutorial explained it well. Thanks! 🙏

If you look just below and slightly to the left side of the sample video, you will see a circle with a number in it with a percent sign under it. This will tell you how long your video has left in the sharing process, this will also show you how much time is left when you render your video.

For some reason, I couldn't see a time bar to say whether it was exporting or how much time left so I really appreciate your sharing about the background tasks window as that revealed how many exports I had going trying to figure this out!

FYI you can see the background status % counting up in the center of your FCP (left of the clock) but I used to open the same window until recently. This vid confirmed I was exporting correctly, thanks!

Thank you for a very constructive and well presented tutorial. Clear spoken and to the point covering the topic with a step by step commentary, allowing for the viewer to fully understand the processes involved. I found the progress bar to be a better view than the little circle and so for myself I found that was also a piece of valuable information. Thanks again for making this tutorial.

Every time I finish a video I have to come here and watch this for the perfect settings. I don't know why I just can't remember how to do it -_-
Thanks so much for the upload man.

You can see the export/share progress meter in the center of the screen next to the time display. It's a circular progress bar :)

thanks this helped. It does tell you how far your exporting has gone in that circular thing with the percent sign on the left side of the timer.
