Wow! I kept cutting and restoring in order to export multiple small clips from timeline! That is amazing tip! Thank you!

Thanks Mark for the tip as it isn't always obvious in FCPX. I'm used to traditionally setting in/out points in the timeline itself and exporting from there but the range selection tool was on point 🙌🏽

Thanks for the great tip, Mark! I can see this being really useful for creating YouTube shorts or Instagram Reels too. Cheers! 😀

Thank you for sharing this tip. Now I can export clips from Final Cut and turn them into gifs with compressor.

I don’t really have much storage in my computer and I have been looking for solutions on how to fix that instead of getting a hard drive...😅
Thank you so much for this

wow, thanks for this easy to follow tutorial. New to FCP and I don't think this is the software for me. I have been trying to render selection to no avail, no explanation by the software why it wouldn't render (After clicking render) - this tutorial showed how I can achieve the exact same, in under two minutes. This is good, and to the point. The only trouble I had is that it seems to only allow you to do one clip at a time. so if you have many clips there is no option to extend

Is there a way to save and or export titles and graphics to use on future projects? For example, I do real estate videos and I would like to save the branded part that pops up the realtor’s contact info, picture, and logo so I can just reuse those things in each of her videos without having to make them again. Thanks!

Please make some covers for Autocad or others architectural programs. You're doing a great job.

can you do the same thing, but send the portion to Compressor to export? I wasn't able to find the option.
