Thank you! This is something that almost every client I have is now asking for, especially since they all want to post quick 10-30 second clips on their IG stories and reels, it's all about having a ton of micro content to push out constantly. This saved me a ton of time tonight!

Awesome - I was also exporting for Stock footage and I was using the IN and OUT points and your method is just way better! Thank you!

It wasn't working for me, but I figured out that it was because when double click the "all video" smart collections I had selected "Media Type Video Only" and "Media Type Video With Audio" by default. Make sure that you deselect those two options before you create the new "Use media" smart collection. Thank you for this tip, very useful for stock footage video creators that work with large batches of footage.

Great quick tutorial and sharing! I been manually clicking each clip in timeline and set my in/out points and one by one export for years! This will save me so much more time now when exporting batch clips lol

This is excellent content! Thanks for the tips and dry humour 😄 - I feel as though I have a PHD in FCPX but there's always something you just never know

Great idea for cutting my video podcast into clips. I wish it was more simple. FCPX should let us set multiple in and out points and just have an export option for all these ranges.
But this might be the solution. Thanks

Thank you it saved me so much precious time. I used to do each clip, by deleting the rest and exporting then undoing and repeating the previous step.

you are the man! my client wanted all the shots individual so they could figure out the order they want them in (I don't know why they just don't use the time code I gave them) so thanks a million for this
