Hope you can help here: I have a MacBook Pro 16" Apple M2 Max 32 GB Sonoma 14.1.2 going to compressor and hitting the + sign give me different options than you have and I'm unable to go any further with the compressor and the Min Mp4 app. Is there also where i can take an MP4 and make the file size smaller to fit other platforms? Thanks so much Dylan, I think this might solve my issue but I don't understand it enough so can I please ask if one of these MP4 steps in the video will allow me to turn a YouTube #shorts into something I can post on Instagram? For some reason Instagram doesn't seem to accept the .mov final files I make on FCP which work fine on YouTube. I'd like to know if there's some way to do it. Thank you!

I tried your suggestion to create 4K template for 1440p export, unfortunately it doesn't do as you say - the video exports at 1080p, not 1440p.
