I feel so terrible for the father. Imagine seeing your gf/wife and daughter before they leave and later find out they're gone. Wow.

I hate people who say that he deserves a second chance just because “he cute” or something

His age cannot justify his act. He took a life now he loses his life. That is justice.

There isn’t enough “ I’m sorry “ words in the world that will take the pain away from the family of this young woman and her baby !

If he was ugly yall would be saying "HE DESERVES IT. HE DESERVES A LONG SENTENCE" Pretty privilege 😔😐

Let him learn how to slow down in prison. No one should die of careless driver.

If I were the husband I would have rather died that day also. What a horrible life he has to live now.

This hits way too close to home. My family was affected by a car accident decades ago, my grandmother and aunt died in the accident and another aunt became handicapped. My mom and uncle were just kids when it happened. The other drivers were actually racing their cars on the wrong side of the highway and collided with my family. I remember my mom saying that one of the racers apologized to her after with deep remorse, and she forgave him. It didn't bring our family back but there was still love. Please drive safe on the road and be mindful of your surroundings.

I'm glad the judge gave him more than the state's recommended 18 years. I don't know if closure would be what I would call it I don't think there's ever closure when your love one dies.

I feel so ashamed as a girl, in my point of view he’s disgusting. Personally I don’t judge people based on their looks, I judge people based on their actions and personalities. It’s sickening seeing edits of him saying he deserves a second chance. Like, what is wrong with them? A mom and a daughter died thanks to his carelessness and what happens? Edits of this guy is being made about “Oh he’s innocent, his eyes say so” or “Oh, he’s cute he deserves a second chance!” It drives me crazy! Looks don’t matter!! There’s a guy who lost the most important people in his life, and what are some people doing, going goo goo ha ha over some guy who “deserves” a second chance.

*6 years + good behavior and they will get out of jail in 4 years with 2 years of probation.*

The sad thing about this, is that so many stupid girls are making fan pages for the 18yr old, where there excuse of him not going to jail is that he is *good looking*

When I was 20 (in 84) my fiancée was killed by a drunk driver.
I have a very hard time feeling sorry for those who are selfish and stupid. For her husband and father - for both stupid young men and the others around them - will have justice.

Dang, I can COMPLETELY relate to this as my wife is also 24 yrs old and my son about the same age as the baby. I CANNOT and don’t even want to imagine the emptiness a father/husband can feel after such unfortunate event. I wouldn’t like to live without them tbh

When someone you love is taken away because of a senseless act, you too will know the pain of losing someone very special that is probably more of positive contribution to society than you will ever be. Take your punishment and learn from your jerk mistakes.

For the family it is a pain that never goes away.
