There is something about AK style rifles for me, so AK for sure.

Also good keeping it clean with no attachments, as they say “rifle is fine”

Always go for the ak, a lot easier to find the ammo for it and it’s super cheap

Yeah as an AR15 guy this isn't really a fair comparison with all that extra kit. Both are pretty sweet. I'd pick the Arsenal against the bare bones MK18.

After some JMac, ALG, and Occam Defense parts, I’d definitely go for the Arsenal. I’ve learned to love 7.62x39 recently, and as long as I can get it, it’ll be my primary by my side caliber.

Depends on the job. For most things I would likely end up doing, the AK is a better choice.

I had a DD M4V7 years ago which was an excellent rifle. But for combat purposes, I've moved away from 5.56 and DI gas. The AR is probably a better offensive system for dismounted infantry, but the AK is superior in most defensive roles IMO.

Aks are great but the DD Mk18 is a clear winner here, optic and light are a must for a combat rifle. If the AK was a railed SAM7K with optic and light then it would be competitive with this MK18

If the ambi dd lower was sporting the 10.3” .300BO +RIS2 or the RIS3 w/11.5” 5.56 barreled upper then I could roll with it as long as those anti-walk pins from KNS locate themselves elsewhere. If the pins walk even with the slightly oversized Geissele Trigger Pin & springs correctly installed, it’s need an RMA.

Depends on the application, but I'm definitely leaning towards the pistol.
