For year's I was using the russet potato for my mashed potato's but one year at Thanksgiving I forgot to buy them but I had a bag of red potatoes so I used them instead. They are the creamiest potato's ever. What I love about them is you don't have to add so much butter and cream vs. the traditional russet potatoes. There always a big hit at my table and I almost never have leftovers during the holidays. 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋

And while you're doing your prep, sprinkle some kosher salt on a slice of raw potato and crunch it down.    Yummy.    (Funny, that we eat raw veggies all the time, but people always think I'm weird when I say that I love raw potatoes.)

I've experimented with freezing potatoes. Cut for roasting later. The common idea was to parboil them let them cool thne freeze. But I have a lazy gene. So I did another batch of cut up raw potatoes and then freezing them. The end result? Slightly different textures. Roasted crunch with both. The winner? The lazy gene roasted potatoes! It didn't matter the variety.

Where the hell did you learn to cook fries? I cut the russet potatoes and rinse the in cold water. Then I
pat them dry heat the oil (canola oil) to 360F, and put the fries in the oil in small batches
and cook them till they are golden brown.They are the best fries you will ever experience...

Spread your hot fries or wedges on a rack to let all the water evaporate to prevent them to get soggy over time. Especially when you stack in a hill.

When I learned several years ago to not wrap potatoes in foil when making baked potatoes, it was a game changer.

we stir fried it and add Chilli Sauce it was Fricking Delicious it was even customizable to you can make it crispy, Mash Like, or even wedges like. you can use red chilli green chilli peppers, and other variety of peppers and the best part is you can use every potato because essentially the sauce is the star the potato is for the texture sensation but i reccomend those glossy potato you guys called Yucon.

Just in case you didn’t notice - they say use the whisk attachment...while they actually use the paddle!!
Jesus Christ at least KNOW WHAT YOU’RE TALKING ABOUT and match the video.

Loved the video. Love potatoes, but first, mashed potatoes are called mashed, because they're mashed with a potato masher, second, to make grated potatoes for hash browns, or potato pancakes, use the grating disc on food processor. Box graters are, a.) DANGEROUS & b.) Difficult to clean, ergo, food poison vectors

New potatoes added to soups and stews, work well if they are cooked separately and added about two minutes before serving.
