Back in the 90's my guitar player & I both bought brand new Pacifica 120's with two humbuckers for. . . . . . . . . .120 dollars new & they're STILL awesome guitars!

Love my Yamaha RGX 121D. There’s not much online about it though and they’re tough to come by but the sound is decent and it’s affordable

I prefer the higher end pacificas because they shorten the pickguard and make the guitar look more like a strat-inspired instrument rather than a straight up knockoff like the PRS silver sky

I have a Pacifica 112V with the Alnico 5 pickups. It’s probably a worthy upgrade. I do like the Rosewood fretboard. It’s hard and smooth, and has some really nice color.

I don’t know which Yamaha Pacifica I have. Got it like 20-25 years ago. Pearl White. Plays nice even after throwing it around in my youth. Dad’s a Strat Cat. HE liked the Pacifica Until I missed the dart Board and landed the dart into the guitar chipping away a big chunk.

Thats how I got it lol

I find it amusing how people will buy an inexpensive guitar, then complain about how it, "Needed upgrades straight out the box." Yeah man, thats why you just paid 219 dollars, (if that?) for a brand new guitar. You could always pay about 2900 & still have a few, of the same issues. Ha!

13.75 radius is way too flat for me. I don’t understand why they can’t get it under 10. The original fender was 7.25. It must be cheaper to make them flat.

Even Squier? Squier, has been making guitars for a long time & has made many, with a rosewood fretboard. Are they doing it in 2023 on their least expensive guitars? Apparently these days it's Laurel or Pau Ferro? That's why when dealing with Fender, stick with what they're kinda known for, a one piece Maple neck! But the Pacifica line most certainly isn't new either. High output ceramic humbuckers? Now Indio? They, could give Squier, a run for YOUR money! Ha!
