Whenever new players ask me for what guitar they should get, I ALWAYS say squier first. I’ve recently picked up a modified jazzmaster and an offset tele and I probably play those more than my American professional 2 strat. Awesome guitars and you can get them for such a steal

The main reason that I like Squier Fender copies more than Epiphone Gibson copies is because with Squier, you still get the Fender headstocks. With Epiphone, you don't get the Gibson headstocks.

That being said, a lot of Epiphones are really good quality compared to Squiers. And I really like the vintage, non-Gibson copy Epiphones, like the Cornet, Wilshire, and Crestwood, for example. Plus, the Casino, obviously.

I really like my Squier Tele, by the way. Very stable guitar. It's hard to mess up a Tele though. I've noticed that a lot of Squiers with trem systems require massive setups.

I have a surf-green Squier offset-Tele that I had my guy set-up, put vintage-noiseless pickups and some new tuners on. It’s a great sounding and playing guitar.

It was fine stock, but I’m fussy.

Got 2 Squier Bullet Mustangs. My main gigging guitars. Stay in tune, and man, that middle position on the pickups sounds almost Strat - like. That's quite a feat for humbuckers. Haha I guess that " quack " just must be in its DNA. YEAH BUDDY !!

the only electric guitar I own is a squier Stratocaster and it has really bad fret buzz and the necks a bit bent, but it was only like 200 bucks, and it was basically a hand me down from my parents since my mom doesn’t play guitar any more, I would buy Squier though, price is really good, and an expensive squier is way better than a cheap fender
