A massive improvement over the previous gen. It's no longer short overall, skinny, and extremely tall. It actually looks, normal, well done.

i genuinely cannot believe they made the trax look good

The Trax is designed and built by GM Korea (formerly Daewoo) and that’s a very good thing. I owned a brand new 2017 Chevrolet Spark, also designed and built by GM Korea. In the 5 years I owned it absolutely zero issues. Reliable as a hammer, very well assembled, and super fun to drive. I suspect the Trax will perform the same. I’d put any GM Korea vehicle (Spark, Sonic, Encore, Encore GX, Malibu, Trax) against anything from KIA or Hyundai. Korean is the new Japanese!

That’s probably the best looking Chevy trax ever! And I never really liked them or cared for any of them! But I think this time Chevy might have a good seller here!

Saw one driving around today! They look very small, especially in black. I like em a lot, not everything needs to be huge

These look phenomenal, so much better than the prior generation, and almost makes the Trailblazer seem obsolete.

2024 Trax 1.2L I3 uses a timing belt, in order keep production costs down, while the timing belt is rated at 200, 000 miles lifespan. ONLY the 1.3L I3 (in Trailblazer) comes with timing chain.

This looks so good it must have the golden ratio in there somewhere. No cvt either. Thank goodness for that.

Looks great and bonus points for no CVT. Seems like good value if it turns out to be reliable. I'd wait a year to make sure there are no major quality issues. Maybe down the line a more powerful model could still come in under 30K.

I am waiting for mine to arrive, after test driving it I decided on 2RS with 2 packages came to $27K it's a real value. I haven't bought a Chevy in 30 years, I'm a Ford guy. Does that tell you what a good value it is? The "Entry Level" Ford, is a Maverick, which they're price gouging badly, but even sticker with similar equipment is $31k . A co-worker just got a Kia Soul GT Line, nice enough, but $1k more. If you can live without AWD this is a great deal.

The reviews of these have been excellent so far. Looking forward to your road test, too.

With dealer markups now a days these prices are almost a joke...especially with that engine.

We love our last gen Trax. We need AWD to handle the harsh winters though so this won't be a replacement option when we replace it later this year after 150k trouble free miles.

Man, GM did a complete overhaul on the dinky little Trax, and it's looks great! And a new three banger turbo? Huh🤔
Wonder if the Buick Encore will get a redesign as well.

This is one of the best dashboard layouts I've seen recently.

Is this on the same platform as that buick wildcat suv?

I gotta hand it to Chevy. So far, it’s a better proposition than the fwd only fake crossovers it competes with. I’d take this over the Nissan Kicks, Hyundai Venue, Kia soul (only because they no longer offer the 1.6T/DCT powertrain). I just wish they’d lower it and remove the cladding and activ trim, but then it’d be a hatchback and no one would buy it 😒

This has got to be the most impressive automotive makeover in decades. It’s like in Shrek 2, when Donkey turns into a stallion 🤣
