One of the most enjoyable youtubers to watch. Honest, to the point and humble. Passionate too.

Thank you Will for thinking of us who are not as adventurous minded with battery back up 🎈

just a heads up for some folks, you still need a load center (breaker box) and outlets sorted out. Seems obvious, but some folks forget that part. I have the 3 battery rack. This is a nice system, I probably would have purchased it if it was available at the time I built mine. BTW, thank you Will for your videos, because without you, I wouldn't have ever been able to get off grid.

Yeah that is a cool advantage to the new batteries. Slim form factor. Makes it a nice looking setup.

I suppose one positive for waiting to pull the trigger on a system is that they keep coming out with better bang for the buck options! I was hard set on a racked setup now has me thinking otherwise.

I love watching your videos! Your enthusiasm and the amazing rate of change in the industry has me excited!! I bought some used solar panels from Santan Solar and need to save and buy the other fun trinkets to get my system going. My neighbor can't believe I want this because we have had 5 straight days of clouds. If it pays my a.c. bill in the summer, I am happy.

Get your hands on an engine lift to help pick it up. They are on wheels and the battery is within it’s weight class with the boom extended. Because we don’t want you injured. 😊

Yeah. That's really sweet. Build it out another layer please!

Finally getting close to setting up my first state and this looks like what I’ll need. Mainly enough to run my freezers and fridge with extra in case of emergency

Hey Will good job.
I live in Vegas too. All lower priced systems are a benefit to know.

I didn't realize how quiet that 18KPV was until watching this.

I've installed my power station in my garage and ran power lines to the other side of the house to avoid the noise.

Thanks Will.
This is a ***tiny*** premium over a "one hundred percent do-it-yourself" inverter + battery setup build.
It is almost plug-and-play and even I am considering setting one of these up to act as a "generator" for hurricane season. When not using it for "backup" I can use it to power a mini-split or two and my server room and outdoor cooking area. This would ***completely*** eliminate the need to purchase and store gasoline or LPG for my current generator. AGAIN I am stressing the fact that my current generator sits fallow as a BACKUP measure for hurricane season. It was a good investment (6kW dual-fuel gas/propane) and provides peace of mind but if not utilized I STILL need to maintain it and the fuel supply. A solar/battery solution would provide daily use as well as backup. Adding two mini-splits (DIY install again thanks will! :) )would reduce my current electrical usage for cooling and that would provide an amortization path that is not currently available.
THANKS WILL!

I would pay someone who would consult with me on how to add a bunch of solar panels to charge this.. and then how to use this to power my EV and a tv/starlink. Seems perfect for my tiny off grid home/ev charger station

Thanks Wil. Believe it or not, you were the one that got me into solar almost a decade ago and i keep coming back too you. You made it look easy (lol its not exactly that easy but is doable) and you helped start my long research and development of my own solar system. I'm very serious about getting the 2 and the combo box. I'm betting you have already told this but how loud are these invertors?

Complete Nube here. I love your videos and greatly appreciate you putting together the forum. Between the two I am a lot more confident in trying to lay out my 'dream' system and how to plan it in stages. Thank you.

Outstanding. Do YOu know what would be great a wiring diagram showing the I/Os of the two units' features and how the 220v split phase would be wired up?

Good stuff, Will. Thanks for the demonstration and information.

Indeed. Best bang for the buck, clean look, and simplicity. First time I learned seen of server rack batteries, I wished they were configured for higher capacity.

I notice the temps in Nevada are record-setting. I believe that solar panels are more efficient when they’re cooler. So you have some way to measure the efficiency of you panels now v. this winter when we’re cooler.
dangerously hot conditions are being forecast for central Las Vegas with highs ranging from 108 F (47.7 C) on Tuesday and 111 F (43.8 C) on Wednesday.

Las Vegas reached 111 F (43.8 C) last Thursday and 110 F (43.3 C) last Friday
