The Kydex tourniquet carrier is by a company I used to own, IBX Tactical. I designed that carrier specifically for the Greenville, NC Emergency Response Team. They needed a one-handed, tension-adjustable, easily-reloadable TQ carrier. It was pretty popular. I ended up making one for every patrol officer in their department and a bunch for surrounding departments as well.

I sold the company to one of the GPD officers and he still makes an updated version of the carrier and other custom Kydex as well. I’m pretty sure he took one of your classes and gave you that TQ carrier.

Thanks for all you do for all of us aspiring Warrior Poets.

Only John can take off his tactical helmet and his hair is still perfect.

I love that you can hear the push dagger stick in the porch.

John, Ive seen instructors use humor to cover up weaknesses. You use humor to put people at ease. Well done. Id love to take a high speed class with you even knowing Im no longer in the high speed age range.

"Combat LARPing Expert". Got to love the fact that John takes himself so seriously. Thanks for the video, brother.

As a vet and previous business owner in the training and larping industry, I completely sympathize with your cause. I will be buying all my products through your website from now on. Keep it up man.

The D-Ring can also prevent one from falling out of their office chair, if anchored to the desk properly.
The ability to quickly remove the outter belt from the inner is essential if one needs to engage in a Tactical Breakdance Fight. Its best that one have a Herbie Hancock playlist at the ready if such a case arises.

I like how John is forever a student and never claims to be a master of anything. Just stumbling through life like the rest of us.

At 12:40 you should have said "Get good carriers, get good plates, get good kits, but most of all, get good training!"
Love all the work you do John! Keep fighting the good fight.

Also one thing to add to this load out, a paint can opener. Allows you to get jammed non ejected casings out and can retain it with string, paracord, onto your molle with the circle end of the pain opener.

Not having been a .mil door kicker I really appreciate this. My days as an LEO doorkicker were so long ago that we considered 60 lumen surefire flashlights as the ultimate illumination device and would have KILLED for NODS! At my age I doubt I could really profit from this kit, but it is CERTAINLY nice to educate myself. Thank you Sir!

Best budget “tactical” ish pants I can recommend for ANYONE is the LAPG Atlas pants. They stretch in the right places and have rip stop everywhere else. They are $39.99. I wear them everyday at work and they last

Thanks for your Service, I was an M.P. doing Physical Security during Vietnam, stationed overseas at Camp Ames, a Heavy Ordnance storage and distribution facility. We didn't pack a ruck on duty, so I'm availing myself of these seminars for the sake of readiness.

Another consideration for a D-ring on a duty belt, even for civilians, is if you have a dog (hopefully a well trained one), you can use that D-ring for a belt mounted leash/tether to be hands off and still have your dog tethered to you if need be.

"Yay for that" Haven't heard that in a while. I missed it. Lol. Thanks, John.

I work at an SO and they told us to get our own stuff and hand in the bill...appreciate someone going through and describing each piece as it gets confusing and overwhelming. Thanks John

This is the content we didn’t know we needed but somehow knew we wanted and then realized how much we really wanted and needed it once we had it. Thanks for not depriving us of what we need

I really notice and pay attention. When he sets things down like his gear and rifle he’s literally letting it go. That shows how confident he is it his gear. It says a lot. We’ll done sir. “If you don’t want to put it to the test, then why do you have it??”

John has more in his helmet setup than I have in everything I own. 7 AR'S, 3 cans, 4 pistols, lvl3+ plates and carrier, warbelt, clothing, ear pro ear buds, Oakley ballistic glasses, and Luminox watch. I did learn many things. Thanks WPS!
