I would do a hybrid. Listen to the multitude, and listen to the gut. No need to choose. Combine them. Blue + Red = Purple. Left foot Right foot, step by step.

Besides, multitudes are relative. There's two types of conformity: Traditional & Progressive. Everyone thinks they're the underdog.
