Science confirms we have a "second brain," and David Vobora believes accessing it will lead you to your highest calling.

Watch Retired NFL-Linebacker David Vobora use science to prove the validity of the stomach's affect on human behavior. He takes you through a series of stories that better explain how trusting his gut led him to found the Adaptive Training Foundation, an innovative non-profit gym that restores hope through movement by providing customized adaptive physical training to people with disabilities.

Always trust your gut. Always. If a situation or person feels off, they are. Protect your life at all costs.

I believe that the gut is more powerful than the brain sometimes.. I used to overthink things a lot and I end up missing out on a lot of opportunities.. Now I'm trusting my gut more and balancing it out with the brain. :)

Ive been following my gut for half a year now and Im way more productive than ever I never dedicated so much time to study in my life and I have an unprecendented confidence .
I feel that when you overthink too much something things build up and make a pile of feelings that in the end make things worse but when you follow your hearth or your gut feeling you just stop caring for things too much and that makes you way more productive .
lets see what will happen to me in 5 years .
steve jobs also said:" follow your gut and intuiton because it really knows what you trully want " and he was really succesful .

my grandmother had 2 regularly repeated sayings i've grown to live by:
1." ALWAYS listen to The First Mind." i.e., your gut
2. "Feelings ain't facts but they're the next best thing to facts." feelings come from the heart AND gut.
I ALWAYS TRUST MY GUT feeling even if i don't understand it ...
i'm learning to ALWAYS obey an order from the gut (even when i don't want to interrupt my schedule to stop and give the homeless guy whatever dollars or change i have on me OR to simply stop and greet the person (while apologizing for not being able to help them because i have no money on me. EVERY TIME the person thanks me for stopping and simply acknowledging them and greeting them... guess it's not always about the money.))

THIS TALK WAS MOST EXCELLENT IN EVERY WAY, FROM BEGINNING TO MIDDLE, TO THE
it CONFIRMED what MY GUT or The First Mind or my FEELINGS have been telling me (but fear and ego...etc...keep...telling me differently ...)

one of the best vids i've seen on YT.

This is so good. I can’t tell you how many times I didn’t listen. This is something I’ve been trying to tune into and follow these days. I stumbled upon this after searching for depression. Don’t believe it’s a coincidence. I was meant to hear this and to continue to be encouraged to be brave and listen.

I wish these talks with talk about how the viewer can harness their gut feelings. Not just be told about someone’s journey.

In a world where TED Talks have diluted their brand--This was a great one. A man.

Major respect for an NFL star who's willing to admit his imperfections and/or weaknesses. Thank you for your honesty and candor.

I'm very proud of you homie.
And I'm proud of everyone who's gotten clean.
I'm proud of anyone who knows they need to and wants to get clean, but lacks the resources. You're seen. You're valid, and I'm proud of you.
I'm proud of anyone who uses and is still alive. You're valid. You're seen.

I typically listen to my intuition but I began to settle the last couple of months and my life quickly ended up in shambles. All this time my intuition was trying to protect me and my pride and ignorance blocked it out and now I'm unemployed, name is slandered, heartbroken and I'm about to choose to break up with a man that I'm dating. This Ted talk was very relatable, intuitive and surreal. His story is so powerful, had me realizing I need to in fact listen to my intuition. Listen closely...

David, I had just begun researching this and your video popped up in something unrelated....or so I thought. I just heard the term used this morning, The Second You’re someone I’d like to be friends with. You are so fortunate to find such an amazing partner. Very happy for you. Thank you for this.

OMG, this was so good I'm crying! Such a powerful story. I believe so strongly in intuition (aka your gut) too because I've had a similar experience to you in listening to it. It's the key to change and transformation.
