Welcome to our 2023 garlic harvest! If you'd like to learn to grow your own garlic, it's time to start thinking about where you'll get your seed garlic and how much space you need. Obviously you don't need to grow enough to sustain yourself for a year, but it was fun to breakdown the numbers and really think about it. If anything, start growing some garlic in your garden to see what performs well in your climate and go from there. Here in Southern California I've had great success with Early Purple Italian, Inchelium Red, Chesnok Red, and Rose De Lautrec. Will you be joining me this Fall to plant some garlic? Check out all the growing information that I have available on my blog.

I was and still am absolutely terrible at math 😭 But this was easy to understand and I think it’s the visual aid that helped me so thanks a bunch for that 😅 And also the points on garlic viability, something that I have never taken into consideration. Maybe because I have never though of growing more than a couple of dozen but that info makes me think why not try for more 🙏 Anyways, thanks for the great video and I can’t wait to start this years garlic 😊
