I have these white spots on my teeth since I wasn't brushing them during depression. Should I just let them be and take care of my teeth so that they don't turn into decay or will it inevitably happen no matter what I do? I don't want to take a risk with my enamel so I don't want them drilled unless absolutely necessary.

The bentist said completely opposite about the white spots on teeth he said it's extra enamel on the teeth snd that those people are less likely to get cavities i really wish it wasn't so confusing in the hole dentistry world that how people start to question everything because everyone working in dentistry seems to say different than the same!!

Fluorosis, too much fluoride ingested during tooth formation, can also cause spots on teeth.

A toothpaste that combines fluoride with calcium phosphate is really good for remineralizing teeth. Much better than regular fluoride toothpaste.

I brush my teeth twice somedays (not as much as I should), once most days, and I’ve missed a day here and there, but rarely. I don’t really floss much at all except before I go to the dentist, lol. I also have braces, and I probably don’t have very good oral hygiene, but I’ve also heard lots of people do these same things so…

I just woke up with these on my teeth! They were over my existing flourosis and were super white, it made me freak out! they've gone back to regular flourosis now!

There are also health reasons for someone having spots on their teeth. My son was given a medication as a baby that caused him to have white spots on his permanent teeth

Take it from the horse’s mouth . White lesions can b caused by a trauma in milk tooth and it affecting the adult tooth . The other reason is medications . As a new tooth is forming beneath the gum a child got ill weakening his body and felt extreme listlessness as diarrhoea, dehydration, constipation so he was given an antibiotic to control the infection but his low resistance was low . Either way, white patches are treatable by icon infiltration technique. Less invasive, no drilling a tooth structure and no Injection !!
