I have many white spots (some have a faint bump) on my arms and back since I was a teenager. I believe it's from body acne I had before. Kinda sucks there is no skincare cure but glad to know it's nothing serious to worry about and it is really nice you've discussed this topic.

Thank you for this educational video. I currently work in a bakery and believe the skull cap I wear on shift is what’s triggered the middle part of my forehead to become scaly, reddish and raised. I’ve been using ointments and oils to try and help. It’s now less scaly but the patch definitely looks a bit lighter (I am if Indian origin). After watching this video I’ve decided to call my doctor!

This was very timely as I just noticed a white spot and was wondering if I should make an appointment with my derm sooner than my yearly checkup. Irish skin and have lots of precancers removed. Thank you for sharing this information! Im a first time mom of West African and Native American background resulting in a cognac skin tone and have a 2year old little girl with a Eurasian father with fair tone that can tan and to a deep caramel in summer, resulting in a café au lait/caramel tone for our little one... I love our ranges and always try my best to take great care of us all insisting on natural /mineral based sun screens appropriate for each of us, avoiding harsher soaps, coloring, washing our faces with Warm water and a dab of plain Vaseline mixed with a gentle lotion etc...My little girl recently depeloped light hypopigmentation on one of her cheeks and i realized it was the same area where she had been bitten by a tiger mosquito a few weeks ago (they bite segeral times in a row in quick succession in the same area and are relatively new to us in the region where we live).

I suspected this was her skin's way of healing on her face but wasn't sure as on other parts of her body she usually developed hyperpigmentation instead, so i had to research.

This has been very informative and in our case a relief! Thank you again 💫🌈🍀🌻
