Ready for the sweat!?

The timer will be on for short periods of work lasting 20 seconds each with 10 seconds of rest in between! We simply perform an exercise for 2 short sets then we have a longer set (60 seconds) of a ‘complementary’ exercise!

You will notice during the 20 seconds work period, these are bodyweight only and so can perform at that slightly faster pace! Once we reach the 60 seconds work period, we will have dumbbell(s) in our hands so naturally, we will slow down that bit during many of these periods! Plus the task of aiming to last those 60 seconds!😅

The dumbbells I am using for your reference are 2 x 6kg each! I would suggest going that bit lighter as this workout is not aimed specifically towards muscle building solely and heart rate elevating is the goal!

Honestly I felt like such a failure during this workout today, I had no energy at all, had to take so many breaks but now that I think of it, at least I tried. I put my training shoes on, went to the gym, and gave my best I could at that moment. So for all of those who feel like me this afternoon, don‘t. Be proud of yourself for trying and for working your ass off with Caroline‘s (awesome) workouts. You could be lying in your bed or watching tv but you chose to work out, despitr maybe having no motivation and no energy, and you can be proud of yourself!

What a brilliant dumbbell cardio session...I love the idea of mixing 20 and 60 sec work periods...those 60 sec exercises are really going to test out stamina! Like Caroline I’ll be using 6 kg...looks like the perfect weight for this one! This is going to be another hot, sweaty session...have fun everyone...and have a happy Sunday Caroline and everyone! I did this today when I was already feeling sluggish and bloated. It's the first time I've really struggled to get through some of the exercises in Fuel, I do not like kick thrus at all! But I'm proud of myself for sticking with it, and I've enjoyed this series so much! First one I've done and I'll definitely continue!

I always love incorporating dumbbells in cardio and HIIT workouts! They make me feel so strong and powerful and the feeling of accomplishment afterwards when you’re drenched in sweat is the best thing ever! 😍💪🏻🔥

Sunday workouts are my favorite. I love getting my heart rate up. This one looks very interesting. 20 seconds of faster paced higher intensity work twice followed by longer duration of slightly slower paced exercise with dumbells. This workout looks very intense, I feel we are going to be very sweaty at the end, but what a great way to end the week and have a nice feeling of accomplishment 💪. Good luck to all of you, the braids are here, and the workout starts with burpee, two reasons to know this is no joke 😅
Edit: just finished it… Is there a micro climate above my fitness mat with rain? My fitness mat is all wet 💦💦, whereas the rest of the room is dry … oh wait😏 I just did a Caroline’s workout😜 This is not rain, but sweat 💦💦😅 I can not believe how Caroline can stay super dry during her workout 😁😁 … My favorite music starts at 91% I’m not running around KILLRUDE

My goodness! Had to stop almost after every set! And it was my first time trying those weighted kick outs and one arm burpees, I must say I have a long way to go perfecting them! What a workout Caroline! Love the no repeat format! This type of workout is what means satisfaction! Kudos! ❤️
