FUEL Series 30 Min QUAD FOCUSED Leg Workout | Day 6

Packed with compound movements to involve the entire lower body but with the emphasis towards the quads!
 
During Bulgarian lunges, squats, and lunges, try to stay as upright as possible, and resist the urge to tilt forward the more you fatigue during the iso squat!
 
The timer will be on for 45 seconds of work with 15 seconds rest in-between each set!
 
We have 9 exercises within the circuit, and we simply perform the circuit 3 times!
 
We have 45 seconds rest in-between each circuit!
 
All you will need for this workout is a pair of dumbbells, your mat, a bench / sturdy chair for Bulgarian lunges and a yoga block / wedge/ small step to perform heel elevated squats!
 
The dumbbells I am using throughout are 2 x 15kg each! You can absolutely use a variety here, even heavier on lunges if you prefer and/or lighter during heel elevated squats for example!

This finisher is a lovely wee way to finish the quads for the day! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
 
Please join me for a cool down after or you can absolutely spend that bit longer gently stretching the hip flexors & quadriceps and cooling down.
 
I love playing with the angles and stance of movements to focus more on a certain muscle(s) and today it hit those thighs!

Fuel was the first workout program I did with Caroline just about a year and a half ago. I remember thinking this woman is nuts if she thinks I'm going to be able to that! I actually vividly remember doing this workout the first time and saying "I'm not going to make it." Today, I completed this with so much more success because I've been training with Caroline for the last 18 months. Keep going!

This was a sweaty one!! Reminder to anyone who might have forgotten, just because Caroline says body weight that doesn’t mean it is going to be easier than any of her dumbbell workouts 😂😂 Looking forward to tomorrow’s upper body!!

Possibly the most time defying workout ever - it felt like we had only just started when the finisher popped up. That doesn't mean it was easy though, my quads are shaking!

It’s leg day and circuits...a combination that I’m sure many of us really enjoy! It’s certainly going to burn and my experience tells me to beware of the bodyweight moves at the end of the circuit! I expect these to be tough!! Happy Monday everyone and have fun...we all know that with circuits the time will fly by! Matthew
All finished...and this was just brilliant! The time just flew by...and I really enjoyed the bodyweight moves...what a burn! The finisher was superb...that last set of lunges was so hard! Every time I do a new fuel workout, I tell myself afterwards that this was the hardest workout by Caroline I've done yet. It just keeps getting more and more challenging and I'm so here for it. Thank you, Caroline!

I can already tell that this is a workout I’ll be feeling in my legs for the next three days! I’m loving the new challenge of more cardio elements in FUEL, it feels great to get the heart rate up and feel the burn in my muscles at the same time! I am feeling so energised after that session! Circuits make a workout go so quickly. I love that I am able to still lift my heaviest weight for my squats and lunges in between movements that are getting my heart rate elevated. Happy Monday everyone❤

This workout was fire! A few things I've noticed since I started doing Caroline's workouts last summer - I'm getting well practiced at pushing through my mental barriers and asking my body to preform when I feel like I can't do another rep. I recently went on a climbing trip and noticed that I'm much braver and willing to try hard than I used to be. There are many factors, but I think these workouts are a big one. My body is strengthening but so is my mind. Also, when I get up in the morning to do Caroline's workouts, doing PT exercises on my shoulder after the workout is done feels like nothing compared to what I've just done. I've been doing Caroline's workouts and, therefore, PT regularly and my shoulder is improving. Yay!

So delighted to see another week coming. I normally am intimated by a Caroline cardio/Hiit day but I attempted day 5 yesterday and didn’t die 😅. I’m more confident with this series contrary to what I thought at the start of day 1. If I can do it, we will all smash this everyone 🤗

This one was insane and I loved it!!!! My legs are shaking :') I thought this one would be easier when you said we were not gonna use dumbbells in most of the exercises but this was way harder than the first leg routine!

I love it when I think, "oh there are some bodyweight moves; maybe it will be slightly easier than her others."....hahahahaha why do I still think this after doing so many programs with Caroline?!?! It will NEVER be EASIER or lighter or less demanding!!! This is my 2nd go around with this programs and it's STILL HARD! Her workouts are always just CRAZY!
