So very well explained. I believe that most doctors do not know that K2 keeps calcium in bones and teeth and not in arteries. I think they are just OK with calcium being laid down in the arteries as plaque in order to "shore up" weakened arteries which, in turn, causes artery narrowing of blood flow. In short, doctors NEED to learn about vitamins/minerals role in disease processes - I wish you were my doctor.

Thanks for the info. However, I must add that there are several plant sources that offer Vitamin K2 that negate the need for animal sources. The animals that are mentioned are grass or grain eaters and do not require animal sources to produce or absorb it. Same with us

vitamin k i understand prevent or increased wound healing making the blood more thicker, if the blood is thicker is not good for your heart and circulation of blood. On the video you explained that vitamin k is good for your heart arteries the fact I don't understand if the blood is ticker then will be good for your heart arteries?

If we are supplementing with vit K, is K2/mk7 enough or do we need a broad spectrum one with K1, K2(mk7+mk4)?

5:00 "You need both plant and animal sources to get the right levels ov vitamin K2." However, you just explained that K2 can be made from K and since K can be sourced from green vegetables, it would seem incosequential that you need more than plant sources.

Is K1 required? I'm considering the various tribes that still exist to this day that don't eat a single vegetable. They live disease free to a ripe old age. There must be something missing here?

Hi Dr Jin, I'm very glad I found you, I only wish you had your practice in Toronto and were taking new patients. Possibly you could give me your opinion, I'm a 68 year old male with no known health problems. I take 100mcg of K2-Mk7 and 100mcg of MK4, along with 3000 D3, and 2- 770mg magnesium orotate and 1 675mg Taurine per day. Because I had my gallbladder removed 10 years ago, I don't know if I should add dandelion or digestive enzymes to help with absorption. Thank you.- John
