When I'm behind my keyboards or just standing up doing my vocal warm-ups, I notice the difference having to change the angle of a my head down for the low notes and up for the high notes. There seems to be a perfect spot for each half note.

I LOVE this because I take a class to keep my singing voice active and core muscles engaged but the “don’t look down for high notes” is so relatable - we have class in a classroom but our finals are in the auditorium - no microphones (and I’ve been using them for decades 😅). Good stuff! 👍🏻

Well I'm confused. I thought that I had to do that so that the jaw open, so that my throat can open. So should I still open my mouth on higher notes, but "up", not "down"? I.e. opening my mouth but putting my head a little back (and up)? I just tried that and it seems to workt. Advice welcomed.
