I'm a very high achiever. I get amazing grades but it can be very stressful. One time I got a bad grade in a quiz and I cried a lot that day. But I've come to realize that faire is the key to success. Our provincial exams are coming up soon. And I believe in myself. If you're struggling with this, remember that you CAN do it!! Have faith in yourself 💜💜💜

The worst part of being a high achiever is when you're never enough, no matter how hard you try, and it gets even worst if you have burn out :)

I was a high achiever from elementary school to high school. Students came to me for homework answers. I found it hard to say no to requests, and they used that against me. It got to the point where I slowly started to resent the kids I was helping.

I was a high achiever until I had my worst breakdown in middle school. I feel burnout for years. And now I'm trying to finish high school. I still have low self-esteem, and my parents still hope that I can return to be my old self.

I am a high achiever. I have accomplished many things, but it never feels like its enough. I feel like I need to do something society- altering to prove myself. I'm still working on accepting myself for who I am. It is a relief to know others feel the same way.

To the *incredible person* seeing this, I wish you all the best in life❤ don't over blame yourself, accept things and go forward. Don't let others define what “success” is for you. Get up, learn the skills needed and get after it, all the keys to a happy life is in your hands. Keep pushing.

Being a high achiever is great, as long as you do not use people as ladders!

As a pre med student I hate to admit that I’ve don’t all of these at least once in my life (especially the perfectionist one) but recognizes the bad habits is the first step to self growth which has slowly helped me improve in these areas 💜

High school made me feel like this. Unfortunately, I was never strong in academics and it was only after graduation and when I started working I was only at my best when doing something hands-on and more in the field. I was never a booksmart person and I certainly don't like the idea of being forced to cram unnecessary information that I'd forget immediately after an exam.

The fear of disappointing others really stuck with me through the video. I dont set the bar high when doing anything, unless it involves other people. High expectations from teachers and other kids picking on every failure drags on into adult life

🙋‍♂️ yes, definitely fit into couple of these. I constantly tell myself to never settle for mediocrity and to just work hard...however, I've totally neglected self care and would get burned out easily.
