My iphone5 did not come apart like this video shows. The white plastic trim around the screen stayed attached to the back of my phone, along with a large metal plate. No clue how to separate these - tried prying around, but the plastic trim seems firmly attached. Going to have to look for a more thorough video...

Will you still be able to do this if someone installed a new screen onto the iPhone

My repair kit that I bought came with a phillips screwdriver, but it doesn't fit the screws that is holding the home button piece.

Great, now the button won't work at all..

You need to change this video and warm people about only opening the bottom of the iPhone and disconnecting the home button flex ribbon…some people aren’t replacing that part and could rip that ribbon real easy.
