How to Setup/Fix UNITY with Visual Studio, Making it the Default External Script Editor

In this tutorial we will continue to work with Unity, making sure that Visual Studio is our external script editor.

Step-by-step:
Unity - Edit - Preferences - External Script Editor

Some things can happen now, you can have everything OK, meaning that Visual Studio is displayed there. If you don't, we will need to browse the location of the .exe file, for that follow the video, it's much easier.

Once it's done, create a new folder and a new script, open it and write some code just as I did. Get back to Unity, make sure you attach the script to any Game Object (I dropped the script into the camera) and click "Play".

Check if the text is in the bottom left corner and in the console.

Everything is working? You can create some cool games now!
Isn't working? Leave a comment with your problem. Let's try to fix it together.

Best regards,
