I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.

Big ups to everyone working effortlessly trying to earn a living while building wealth. I am 50 and my wife 44 we are both retired with the net worth of over $3million with no depts. Currently living smart and frugal with our money. Saving and investing lifestyle in the financial market made it possible for us this early even till now earn monthly through passive income. Great video. I love this.

There are a lot of strategies to make tongue-wetting profit that the average joes don't know. . Personally, the financial-market for me seems the only way forward with my long time horizon (accrued roughly $457k in gains since Mid 2021 ) but if you don’t have that fortune of time it’s a tough market out there almost nowhere feels safe!

I'm going into my 40s soon and am starting from almost no savings aside from company 401k. Luckily I have a house and car paid off with a little debt. Don't give up

Sound advice. I'd encourage you to create a talking point road map before recording so you don't have to keep going back and saying, "Well, before this..."

Bad advice. After matching 401 and Roth why would you suggest going straight to post tax accounts instead of maxing the ira or doing an hsa?

I've been contributing around $9, 000 annually to my SEP for the past six years, but it seems I need to do more. Growing up with a passion for skateboarding (still a huge skate history nerd), I'm fortunate to have a job as a DP, which I find as enjoyable as skateboarding and surfing. a big thanks to David Marvin Willis I could work until I'm no longer able, considering it's my passion. Your advice has inspired me to explore additional income streams. Besides contributing to my Vanguard SEP account, do you think Real Estate is another promising avenue for investment?

Save more % per month, 401K matching, Roth IRA max-ing, investing in brokerage accounts and/or mutual funds, work longer, 2nd source of income/side hustle, get rid of debt and purposeful budgeting.

I’m 40. I bought a duplex last year as a rental. Should I pay a few extra 100 towards principle or add that towards potential interest gaining investments such as my 401 (Roth Is maxed out)???

The military did not prepare me for retirement rather it taught me it was non-existent. Why is it people who work the hardest just end at the bottom? I've analyzed life and can truly state those who made it to success didn't try as hard as you think, they had money, they had education, etc. This world we live in is unfair.

The Nine Club recently mentioned your new, post skate path, in a video so I came to check it out. Very glad I did. So much great advice here. I really appreciate it.

So I’ve only worked as a W2 in my teens I’m now in my mid 20’s. as far as benefits go or having a retirement plan, Roth IRA, or 401k. I don’t get any of those benefits. as a 1099 am I screwed? What are things I could do now so when I do retire I’m not screwed?
