This is the advice I needed just now. There's seems to be
1. Hanging out as friends
2. Dating
3. Relationship
Be happy with this but try not to get stuck in 1. for long.

It depends tho. Try not to have high hopes, if it meant to be it will . Learn to be patient, you want to generate genuine feelings not a rushed one and don't give up easily. Give them time and space. I'm having the same current situation but all i can do is to give time and space for girl to think about it.

Edit : try not to bring it out about this topic when you guys meet because it might pressure them. Relationship is a huge commitment and trust, not about flashy love type of stuff. Do remember that you guys are still friend, chat normally.

This basically happened to me a couple weeks ago. she said I was cute, but she wasn't ready for a relationship, & ever since that, I've been overthinking way too much about whether she was sugar coating or if she was being genuine, & its been messing with my self esteem because I don't know if there's something I need to fix or if she really is not ready for a relationship.

In my case I was the one who wasn’t ready, I don’t have a job, I live at home, I barely have any money, we live in opposite sides of the US. It’s not because I didn’t like the person but I want them to be happy with someone that can offer them 100% we agreed to be friends and it’s been a pretty good friendship so far and they are dating other people while I’m just focused on myself. Definitely don’t want them to wait for me.

Hey Josh! I’m new to your channel and this is probably the second video of yours I saw. They are really insightful. I had a question. I went out with a girl from my cs class 2 times before she started acting distant and when I asked her (after giving some space) she told me she isn’t really interested in dating rn but is really glad to have more friends in comp sci. She offered to go bowling and then the 4th time we hung out at my apartment. This was all pre-covid. After that things kinda fizzled out. However, I touched base with her a week back and it felt good. If things go back to normal and she comes back to campus in the fall, do you recommend me to hang out with her to get to know her better?
