In order for a complex, deeply emotionally invested relationship to occur, professional advice cites that your potential partner needs to be capable of:
- never giving you up
- never letting you down
- never turning around and deserting you
- never making you cry
- never saying goodbye
- never telling a lie and hurting you

I've been on both sides and it hurts regardless of the role. It hurts to know you like each other but they can't enter the relationship and it also hurts to have to turn someone down because you just aren't capable of giving them the love they deserve.

Met a guy who had just about all these problems. After watching this video I realised there was nothing I could have done to change his mind.

I totally understand when someone isn't ready. But i gotta admit, it hurts with time. Especially when they first act conpletely differently and only realize it after a while. The last two guys i had strong feelings for both said i would be such a great gf and they truly like the person i am. I know it's not my fault, but deep down, i feel i am getting more and more insecure.

*TOP 3*
- They show a track record of jumping from one relationship to another, without any space in between
- They are very intense at the beginning and show too much affection, which indicates clinginess
- They still have exes in the background, lurking and distracting, which means that the person has unfinished chapters

I tend to look back on my last relationship with regret. He was a great guy and I knew I wasn't ready for a relationship, I just didn't know why. Thankfully were still friends but the self loathing is still there. I really needed to hear some of these points, it helps me realize I'm not a bad person because of it. Thank you psychtogo <3

These are actually the reasons why I’m single.

I don’t want to play mind games.

I don't wanna date out if the fear that if something goes wrong, I'll lose that person, and I'm not ready to take those risks. I feel so happy when I know someone likes me back, but then I just freak out, and I really wanna try to date but I don't know how without overthinking everything :/

Really hard pills to swallow, that’s why I believe true love has to be rare and magical, there are so many layers to find out and to handle, most people get lost. It’s just so heartbreaking and discouraging
