I have a jar that the immersion blender head fits inside and I make the mayo right inside the jar: blend, tap off the mayo on the blender, put the lid on, put it in the fridge!

I make all of mine as well. It is so much better without the nasty additives. I also use some (2 tbls) of my probiotics from fermented cabbage.

Hi, I have a question about the mustard. Why do you have to boil the vinegar if you are going to bring it down to room temp?

Hi Anja! Excellent recipes, thank you! Question: on the mustard, why do you boil the white wine vinegar and then cool it down? Does that change the taste? ❤

Can't wait to try these. Do you have the measurements for the ketchup? Thank you for the video

Do you have any tips for making mustard spicier? I have heard the water/ vinegar temperature plays a part in that but I love a good pungent mustard but haven't gotten the method down pat for a consistent flavor every time.

@OurGabledHome
Anja,
So enjoyed your condiment video.
I've been making homemade mayonnaise and catsup for about a yr and have wanted to make mustard. Could you tell us where to purchase mustard seeds please?
Thank you.

There's nothing as good as homemade condiments. It's been a while since I made ketchup, and I think I will have to make some again. Thank you, Anya. ❤

I love making homemade mustard and mayonnaise. I haven't tried making catsup yet. I was going to wait until our tomatoes start coming in but I will try your recipe with the tomato paste because I have that in the cupboard now.

Do you have measurements for your ketchup? I searched the blog, but did not find any recipe. We go through so much, at $5 bottle it adds up fast!
