Dear Diary,

    Today I talked to my first girl. It was amazing. Well maybe we didn't actually exchange words but at least I said hi, and she waved. Work was also great today, I didn't even leave the house, we all streamed a live discussion of the two new consoles to give our bias comparison's. We had a hard time finding stuff to bitch about on the PS4 so we made up shit and decided to judge it entirely on only the exclusive games, so we compared. At least we were able to play bits and pieces of Killzone Shadowfall's campaign enough to give a review. Life couldn't be better....

P.S My review of this day is a lacked a generational leap but decent compared to the trip to the grocery store  yesterday which was a solid 5.2/10

Why does Xbox one has better mark if PS4 is smaller, more powerful, cheaper, has better exclusives, a better controller and ps+ gives you 2 free games a month? Seriously Polygon? Where´s the hidden camera?

The visuals of this video was quite literally stunning. Beautiful vectors galore; everything I have come to expect from a premium Polygon review.

Review itself has great points. Can't wait for the X1 review to drop.

There's plenty of games that are exceptional including Killzone, Battlefield, COD, Assassins Creed 4, sports games, and plenty of indies. 

Those games alone will keep you more than busy until new titles like Uncharted 4, Metal Gear 6, LittleBigPlanet 3, God of War 4, and of course Watch Dogs finally hit the shelves.

I have a feeling that the PS4 and the Xbox One will both have the same problem the Wii U is having, convincing the audience out there to upgrade. They also seem to have problems getting must have games on these consoles. That's probably because the graphical leap isn't as big so most of the general audience doesn't care.

Why do I keep hearing praise for the Cross media bar? That has to be one of the weakest parts of the OS. This looks terrible as did the PS3 menu...sub menu after sun menu to get to stuff you want? Fuck that ..a whole 9 years since PS3 launch and Sony can't get a better menu system... Sad

Fair review. I will probably be getting an Xbox one, but I'm glad that they made some good improvements from the Playstation 3.
