Picked one up on day 1, and I'm impressed. Sold my OG PS4 to get it, and have zero regrets. There is no comparison to the original as far as fan noise, its super quiet. As far as temperature, the Slim has been thoroughly tested, and does not give off as much heat as the original, contrary to what was stated in this video. A huge selling point is you can now use 5Ghz WiFi. Downloaded the 4.0 update on OG in about an hr, in under a minute on the Slim. Its incredibly fast. Lastly, games actually look slightly better on the Slim. My wife, not being a gamer herself, is the one that actually pointed out the improvement in visuals.

Wait a minute.. you have incorrect facts IGN. The slim 1 tone color design does not replace the original PS4 two tone glossy design, because that was replaced with another version of the PS4 already. My PS4 is the original and it doesnt have a glossy part at all.

I dont see the problem its just the look everyones complaining about tbh to me it's better then nothing I'd rather have this than no ps4
