I have a decently powerful laptop. Ubuntu runs smoothly without issue. Pop OS! is notably slower and I had issues with apps crashing, which never crashed on Ubuntu.

I am a pop os fan. Have it on my desktop and laptop. Wish I could afford a system 76 laptop though

You didn't look on stable but beta version. Stable still has noncustomizable gnome but beta has some issues as it isn't completed.

Pop OS is heavy and clunky to the point it defeats one of the biggest points of using Linux for me. I'd run a debloated win 11 with WSL on any machine capable of running Pop OS. That config would be far more compatible with less overhead too.

im install pop gnome, its best for developer. still waiting for the cosmic for stable, as we know current pop cosmic is beta.
