For me, it feels like my middle back (i guess this might be the latissimus?) hurt and burn from having my baby in my arms for so long

Hello.
So my pain is not in my lower back it’s my upper back and my chest. My thoracic spine was very stiff but six weeks of physical therapy it has loosened up a little bit finally. My chest is also extremely tight and we’re working on my intercostals along with my scalene‘s and of course the upper traps. Are the exercises safe for the upper back as well?
Also I’m in the process of correcting my posture. With a mixture of exercises and posture correction approximately how long should it take before I’m feeling even out again? Are we talking months or a year? I’m keeping track of my progress and I just sort of want to know what I’m looking for. I was fine months ago and then all of the sudden I did a wrong movement and Pam pain set in my upper back and my chest!
I’ve had so many years of holding babies those days are done so now it’s time to correct myself!
